Company Secretary


Job Description:

 

  • Appointed as a designated Company Secretary, providing comprehensive corporate secretarial services to the company internally and to clients. Responsibilities include company registration, annual filings, company deregistration, preparation of director/shareholder resolution documents, share allocation/transfer, and amendments to the company’s constitution. 
    Ensure compliance with SSM legal and regulatory requirements. 
    Handle and organize clients’ Annual General Meetings (AGMs). 
    Maintain good relationships with clients and promptly handle inquiries concerning corporate secretarial matters.
  • Ensure the company’s compliant development and provide training to team members, keeping abreast of updated legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing internal departments and ensure efficient operations among company departments.
  • Properly maintain statutory document records and update them promptly.

 


Requirements:

 

  • A degree/diploma in Business Administration or equivalent is required.
  • Possessing an ICSA or MAICSA corporate secretary qualification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate secretarial firm.
  • Familiar with Malaysian Companies Act and governance regulations.
  • Meticulous, organized, and possess good planning abilities.
  • Possess good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
