【Singapore Company Registration Tips】 The Singapore Ministry of Manpower has authorized 12 background check companies to verify the educational qualifications of foreign employees.

In addition to applying for qualification verification through these background check companies, Singapore's Ministry of Manpower also accepts educational qualification certificates provided by the government or educational institution websites of the foreign employee's country of origin.

These 12 companies operate in many countries worldwide, including Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and have a good track record in verifying educational qualifications and educational institution certifications. The verification fees charged by these companies range from S$30 to S$60 Most qualification verifications can be completed within one or two weeks The Ministry of Manpower will regularly review the list of selected companies to ensure they meet service quality requirements.

According to the Singapore COMPASS framework, applicants for Employment Passes must achieve at least 40 points in four assessment areas: monthly salary, educational qualifications, company employee diversity, and support for hiring locals 40 points to be approved.
