Organised by Synpura Conservatory of Music with the strong support of Hougang Community Club, the 2025 Singapore International Music Festival Awards Ceremony was successfully held on 24 July 2025.

FOZL Group was honoured to be invited to this meaningful event. FOZL Group Founder, Director, Mr. Huang Zelin, and Chief Strategy Officer, Ms. Felinka Zhou Fan, attended the ceremony alongside distinguished guests from the arts, public, and business communities to witness an evening of musical brilliance and growth.

The ceremony featured three Guests of Honour:

– Mr. Shane Cao, Founder of the Singapore International Music Festival and renowned Chinese musician and cross-genre composer

– Mr. Dato Seri Toh Soon Huat JP BBM(L) PVPA, Chairman of Sian Chay Medical Institution

– Mr. Lee Hong Chuang, BBM, Member of Parliament for Jurong East–Bukit Batok GRC

A series of classical performances showcased the passion and talent of performers across various age groups. From young children to aspiring student musicians, each took the stage with confidence and excellence.

Mr. Huang Zelin, Founder, Director of FOZL Group, was invited as the award presenter for the Outstanding Performance Award, recognising participants for their dedication, artistry, and perseverance.

Since its official launch in January this year, the Johor–Singapore Economic Zone has continued to gain momentum. From January 2024 to the present, Singapore‑based companies have pledged over SGD 5.5 billion in investment in the economic zone, injecting strong impetus into regional cooperation and economic growth. Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met on December 4 at a hotel in Singapore for the annual informal Singapore–Malaysia Leaders’ Summit. Both leaders expressed their appreciation for the positive progress of the economic zone, underscoring their commitment to deepen bilateral cooperation and elevate Singapore–Malaysia relations to new heights.

Singapore’s Manufacturing and Electronics PMI Both Rise in November, Sustaining Industrial Momentum

According to the latest data released by the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM) on December 2, Singapore’s Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rose to 50.2 in November, marking the fourth consecutive month of expansion. The Electronics PMI also increased slightly to 50.6, maintaining growth for six consecutive months. This indicates that, despite global demand adjustments and ongoing regional economic uncertainties, Singapore’s manufacturing and electronics sectors continue to demonstrate solid resilience.

The latest edition of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI), released on November 26, shows that Singapore has risen to the top of the global ranking for the first time, surpassing long-time leader Switzerland after ranking second eight times over the past nine years. This breakthrough reflects Singapore’s sustained investments in its education system, regulatory environment, and workforce adaptability, while also signaling a significant shift in the regional talent landscape.

The10th Singapore FinTech Festival to Open on November 12, Focusing on AI, Tokenisation, and Quantum Computing

(Singapore, 12 November 2025) — The three-day Singapore FinTech Festival will open at the Singapore Expo, marking its 10th anniversary.
