Application Process:
Unit Account Registration: Employers need to first register as a unit user (legal person) in the "Foreigners' Work in China Management Service System"
Submit Application: Submit an application for the employed foreign personnel through the unit (legal person) account, fill out the application form as required, and upload relevant supporting materials
Preliminary Examination: The accepting institution will conduct a preliminary examination of the submitted electronic materials. If the materials are incomplete or the content is not standardized, a one-time online notification will be provided to request correction of the materials; if the electronic materials are complete and the content is standardized, an online notification or an appointment for on-site submission of materials will be provided.
Acceptance: The applicant submits the application materials to the designated window. If the materials meet the acceptance conditions, a "Foreigner's Work Permit Acceptance Form" will be issued; if the materials are incomplete or do not meet the specified format, a one-time "Correction Notice" will be issued; if it does not fall within the scope of permission, a "Non-Acceptance Notification" will be issued.
Review:Relevant departments will review the application materials. Applications meeting the conditions and standards will be approved; those that do not will be returned with an explanation of the reasons for rejection. Applicants can resubmit after making the necessary revisions.
Decision:For applications meeting the conditions and standards, an approval decision will be made, and a "Notice of Foreigner Work Permit" will be generated online; for applications that do not meet the conditions and standards, a written decision of disapproval will be issued.
Collecting Documents:Overseas applicants can use the "Notice of Foreigner Work Permit" to apply for a work visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in their country. After entering China, they will apply for a "Foreigner Work Permit"; eligible applicants within China can directly apply for a "Foreigner Work Permit in China." After approval, they can collect the document at the counter or choose to have it mailed.
